Getting involved

While our church has a certain leadership structure, it takes a lot of work to do everything that a church does. To meet these needs, many folks in our church contribute to the volunteer ministry at Stonebridge. With prayer, contact us, and we will discuss your passions and interests to see where you may be able to put your talents to use.

If you are on our hospitality team you can see the hospitality schedule here.

Financial Giving

Overview

Giving is an important part of the Christian’s life. When we give to God’s work with our time, our talents, our energy, and our resources, we really are responding to how He has blessed us in our gratitude to Him. Giving of ourselves is an act of worship, and we are blessed to be allowed to be apart of God’s work in the world as we trust Him to supply us with all that we need to do His will. With this spirit, we encourage you to give of yourself in every way to God's work in obedience as God calls you. We hope and pray that you will be uplifted and encouraged as you faithfully follow His direction in this area of your life.

During a worship service at Stonebridge we won’t pass an offering plate and you won’t be asked to give. It is important that Christians give cheerfully, not out of compulsion or reluctance (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).

Giving Options

For those who feel led by God to contribute financially to the work of Stonebridge, we have two ways of giving. First, we have a small blue offering box in the back of the church worship center. If you are here on a Sunday, feel free to leave any contributions there. Second, we accept donations online. You can use the form below to donate to Stonebridge at any time from your computer or any mobile device with an internet connection.

Thank you

Thank you for considering entrusting Stonebridge with your resources to further God's kingdom here on earth. God asks each of us to put ourselves to work in His service, and taking this step of faith not only contributes to God's purposes on earth, but like all acts of obedience, it strengthens your relationship with Him and helps to reform your inner character. Solomon talked about this when people gave to complete the building of the temple (1 Chronicles 29:17). We take the stewardship of God's resources given through you very seriously, and are grateful you are choosing to walk this path with us.

What areas are there for me to serve in?

We have service opportunities in hospitality, children's, worship, and prayer ministries, and others besides. However, we believe that every Christian has been uniquely gifted by God for effective and empowering work in God's kingdom (Romans 12:3-8). We believe that a person's gifting will make room for that person to use his or her gifting. So while we have many ministry opportunities at the church, we want everybody who is interested in service to step forward so we can see how God will use that person for His purposes!

Financial Giving Questions

Where does my donation go?

Good question! In addition to the normal day-to-day costs of the church, we are committed to giving a portion of all we take in from gifts back to other organizations that do good work we believe in. You can read more about that on our outreach page.

Is giving online safe?

Yes! Your gift is entered below on this very webpage and is processed by a company that adheres to the strictest guidelines of data security. This is a Christian company that specializes in working with non-profits' websites and online giving.

Do I need to create an account?

You do not need to create an account, though if you intend to give multiple times you can create an account so you don't have to re-enter your information each time. Also, if you do create an account you will be able to access a complete record of your giving history at any time. The "sign in" button in the upper right of the giving form below is used by those who wish to create an account. Be sure to take note of your username and password and store them in a secure place if you use this option.

Why would I want to set up recurring giving?

Some feel they serve God best by deliberately making their donation each time they give, so the option to always do one-time gifts is available to you. Others may feel that they serve God best by committing to a regular gift at the beginning of a time period. Still others may like the stability that comes from recurring gifts so they don't forget to give. For these people we have the option to set up automatic giving.

What sort of ways can I give?

At this time we can accept debit cards and direct bank transfers (you'll need some information about your bank for this, having a check on hand would work).

Why can't I use a credit card?

We don't allow credit cards at this time for one major reason. There are some people who have a difficult time managing credit cards and have gone into debt or damaged their credit as a result. Even though each person is responsible for his or her own financial choices, we don't want to make this issue a stumbling block for someone.
